AIM~Academy In Manayunk expanded this month to a second building in Manayunk -119 Rector Street. The Rector Street building was previously the home of St. John's High School and will now be the Upper School of AIM - currently grades 6-9 but will grow one grade a year until it has a complete high school through 12th grade. After just two years, AIM's enrollment has more than tripled - now at 101 students. This significant growth demonstrates that AIM offers a recognized way to help Philadelphia children succeed who struggle to learn to read, write and master basic math skills.
The Lower School building at 169 Conarroe Street was also able to expand its facilities with the move, including the outfitting of a complete Occupational Therapy room.
