I am delighted that you are interested in AIM Academy. It has been my pleasure to navigate families through the admissions process since our inception over seven years ago. From our initial 24 pioneer students in the 06-07 school year to our current population of more than 210 students, it has been a joy to watch these gifted students enter AIM's doorways and flourish under the guidance of our highly-trained educators.
Our families hail from over 63 zip codes in the tri-state area including Chestnut Hill, Blue Bell, Center City, Haverford and Devon. As we have discovered, our families will stop at nothing to provide their children with the best opportunities in education that their children so richly deserve. Some of our families have even moved from as far away as North Carolina, California and Spain with the expressed purpose of enrolling their children at AIM.
When you visit, you will discover the convenience of our location and its new state-of-the-art facility which is just minutes from the ramps off Routes 476 and 76 and steps from the Miquon train station overlooking the banks of the Schuylkill River in Conshohocken. Thirteen school districts provide free transportation. Our central location enables students from throughout the Delaware Valley to conveniently access our campus.
With this in mind, we encourage bright, motivated students with average to above average cognitive abilities, who have been diagnosed with a language-based learning disability/ difference, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia to apply to our college preparatory school. We are looking for students who are ready to immerse themselves in all aspects of our school life, both in academics and in our enriched extracurricular programs.
I encourage you to attend one of our monthly Open Houses to learn more about our program. Please do not hesitate to call the Admissions Office if you have any questions about the admissions or financial aid process. I look forward to getting to know you and your child and welcoming you to AIM.
Warmest regards,
Nancy Blair
Associate Director, Director of Admissions
