Walking through the halls of AIM Academy is such a privilege and an honor each day. To see the dream of replicating the The Lab School of Washington for children here in Philadelphia with its Live It! Learn It! approach is incredible. We watch the children actively engaged in their learning with caring teachers who understand their unique learning needs. Daily, we get a glimpse of the future and witness the hope of the next generation of confident, creative learners.
During these times of economic concern, please know that AIM faculty and staff are dedicated to the goal of sustaining the high quality of education for all students at AIM Academy. AIM's focus on its mission of bringing research-based programs to children with learning differences requires a commitment to ongoing professional development and highly qualified personnel. The pressures on AIM families financially have renewed the focus on scholarship programs, including the EITC program and private foundation support.
We are proud of the sound financial position of AIM Academy. We focus on the future fiscal health of the school with the knowledge that our students must be at AIM in order to achieve academic success. Their futures depend on it. Through a collaborative effort of our board, families, and friends of AIM, we know we can continue to meet our financial goals. More than at any time in our country's history, this effort will require both focus and sensitivity to the economic challenges that are confronting us all.
We need your help more than ever. We ask you to consider making AIM a priority for your charitable giving. A listing of the many ways we can all accomplish this are listed in the left hand column. We hope you will join with us.
"Every child who cannot read, diminishes society." Please join us in our goal of making literacy a priority for all children. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
Warmest regards,
Pat Roberts and Nancy Blair
